1962 Chevrolet Corvette onvertible Resto Mod 2085 MILES
This is a stunning 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Resto Mod.
The 1962 body rests on a C-5 chassis. The independent 4- wheel suspension, the larger differential and the larger brakes, are an amazing upgrade. I can't even try to explain how well this car drives, I promise, it will put a smile on your face! The power comes from a brand new 415 CI Chevy smallblock. It has a roller cam and gives great torque and horse power ratings. The torque reaches 481 lbs @ 3800 rpm and the HP peaks out at 421 at 5000 rpms. An MSD electronic distributor and MSD HVC II Blaster coil are being used to light the fire from the Edelbrock High flow fuel pump and the Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. Probably way more power that this hot rod needs, but it's there if you want to put your foot into it!The power goes through a Tremec 6 speed manual transmission. 1st through 4th gears are close ratio, 5th and 6th are overdrive for more comfortable cruising. The rear end has 345 gears. This car was put together by the talented folks at Corvette Connection. The driveability and power are matched perfectly. This beautiful machine has 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering and cold blowing air conditioning.
