This 1963 Chevrolet Nova (aka the Chevy II) is a dialed-in restomod droptop that speaks loudly AND carries the proverbial big stick. With a high-impact look, this flyweight fighter is capable of beating up on much more powerful hardware, all while looking like a million bucks. Gorgeous Brandywine paint, a TMI leather interior, and a thundering 4.8L V8 LS matched with an overdrive transmission and pro-touring style mini-tubbed suspension are just the highlights. Sound like your kind of fun? Read on... In the Pro-Street/Resto-Mod game, paint doesn't get much nicer than the unique, high-impact Brandywine finish on this handsome Nova. Finish quality is excellent, just as you'd expect at this price, with laser-straight bodywork (other than the passenger's quarter panel and the doors, all the sheetmetal is new to the car) and a deep, glossy urethane finish that was cut and buffed to give it a great shine that's held up pretty well since the comprehensive build was completed. It's not a perfect trailer queen anymore after logging a few miles in the last couple years, but it's certainly WAY nicer than most Novas on the market, and the curb appeal is absolutely through the roof. They kept the thrills to a minimum, allowing the uber-straight bodywork and that amazing bright color do most of the talking, and without an obnoxious cowl hood or silly graphics/stripes getting in the way, this Nova will never go out of style. The streamlined design is punctuated by the low-slung stance, with giant wheels and rubbers stuffed into the narrow fenders, and whether the top is up or down (we prefer it down, of course), this Chevy II looks like a million bucks when it's cruising down Main Street. They didn't slap any silly SS badges on either, because why make this beauty something that it's not? Instead, you get shiny bumpers fore and aft, a slick razor-sharp grille up front, and only a couple simple Nova badges on the rear quarters that let everyone know what time it is.
