1968 Ford Mustang extensive 2 year restoration everything rebuilt
Very rare opportunity to own a true one of one car. This car has undergone and extensive 2 year restoration and just recently finished. The car is a first day bucked vehicle for 1968, look at the marti report and the vin.
This car had every rare option that you could have ordered from Ford, and very obscure options at that, speed control, tilt away, rear defrost, convenience package, luxury interior, both consoles, GT group, and the S code 390. Everything was still there and original to the car, engine and tranny ‘C-6’, all the rare options were still in the car and intact(thank god). It needed extensive sheet metal work, well it needed extensive everything if I’m being honest. We had a well known restoration shop in the area do the job. It was more than we could take on, and the car deserved professionals that have tackled this kind of work before. We can provide the serious buyer with an extensive array of restoration photos, just contact us and we can make that happen. Finished in the original Gulfstream Aqua and black vinyl top, it looks stunning in any light. This was a 6 figure build and can provide the paperwork to the buyer and only the buyer. Why are we selling? Well honestly I like to drive my cars and this in my opinion is too nice to drive, I would be afraid of rock chips, road wear etc.. it was done too nice. We actually have another car the same shop is doing, which is more of a restomod and a car I would much rather put the miles on than this car. It really is too nice to drive on a regular basis, I dislike trailer Queen cars because they are hard to justify not driving, this is really borderline trailer queen. Again everything has been rebuilt in this car, engine, tranny, rearend, everything front to back and has less than 5 miles on the restoration.
