1972 Chevrolet C 10 LS Restomod custom details 25751 Miles
Take some time to check out all the custom details of this 1972 Chevrolet C10 Restomod. But don't linger too long, because with the slick paint, a custom leather interior, cold-blowing A/C interior, an overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and an awesome 6.0-liter fuel-injected V8 under the hood, this truck will not be staying in our showroom very long. Atomic Orange is a modern color borrowed from a C6 Corvette, so it makes a distinct first impression. And since this is a full custom build, the paint even has some custom upgrading to give it added brilliance in the sunshine. The consignor is the builder, and he finished the restoration in 2013. You can tell this is a personal passion project by the way he sweated the details on the body by the smooth deleted badges and the proper fit of the panels that let the doors shut solid. There's the right gleaming brightwork with the big chrome bumpers and trim around the grille. It gives you the right classic car shine without drowning out the polished performance upgrades like the side exhaust tips, crystal clear headlights, and 18-inch American Racing Custom Shop two-piece wheels. The black tonneau cover continues the sporty style as it tightly fits over the bed for a nice aerodynamic upgrade. And underneath is liner paint so that you can both show this custom C10 off and pull real truck duty when you want. And if this truck needs to do some dirty work, it's easy to hook up a trailer to the Class 5 hitch. There are even adjustable airbags on the rear suspension to properly take on a load. The bright orange returns inside as an accent color, and now it's joined by black. The seating is borrowed from a Ram, but it's fine to have a Mopar in a Chevy when you have plush leather bucket seats. There's a jump seat in the middle, but you'll just like it better for folding down to give you a center console. Everything right down to the rubber mat floor looks crisp and clean - exactly what you'd expect on a well-done build. There are more worthwhile upgrades like a retro sound AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth, full stereo speakers with subwoofer, shoulder seatbelts, and cold-blowing air conditioning. This is also built to be a better driver. That's why you have a sports steering wheel, power steering, and beyond that is a full set of Dakota Digital HDX gauges. The engine bay continues this truck's custom attitude with a smooth and clean style that really knows how to put this modern motor on display. This is an LS-based LQ4 6.0-liter Vortec motor, and the fuel-injected V8 upgrade means more power and consistency wrapped in a tidy-looking package.
