1965 Ford Mustang GT Tribute legendary color 27896 Miles
This 1965 Ford Mustang really gets the best of the pony car icon. You have a legendary color, a distinct interior, cold-blowing A/C, GT upgrades, V8 power, and four-on-the-floor. So when you want it all the best in a ready-to-roll package, this is the one. Wimbledon White is always an excellent choice on an early Mustang, especially the coupes. This one looks particularly nice because it's a later professional respray that makes the factory-correct color really pop in the sunshine. More than just the desirable color, all the details that make the first Mustang an enduring icon are looking complete and attractive. Shining chrome bumpers, styled steel wheels, and an attractive luggage rack make for a distinctly brighter package. And you get that added touch of GT style with pieces like the triple rocker stripe and trumpeted dual exhaust integrated into the rear valance. The interior looks distinct in its Ivy Green and off-white. It's a comprehensive two-tone that's on the seats, doors, and dash. This Mustang has been upgraded to 1965's GT-style readouts, and there are also front bucket seats, a well-paced shifter, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. It makes for an inviting style to a proper driver's car. You likely have noticed the ultra-desirable premium "pony" package seats. In fact, this one loves showing off all the best premium vintage details. That's why you have a center console, wood-like trim, and even a working AM radio. But there are also well-integrated upgrades. There is a removable center console that coordinates with the interior green. And while the air conditioner looks like the classic-style unit, it's blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. Open the hood to see an attractive golden presentation of Ford's 289 cubic-inch V8. We like these frothier hardy and powerful nature, especially when topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. It's a strong powerhouse with a smooth running feel, and you get to take full control of it all thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. Since this one likes to have the added GT style, it likes you to feel the road a bit more like a classic sports car. But features like power steering and wide BF Goodrich T/As also make sure cruising is easy.
