1970 Chevrolet C 10 updated small block power awesome cruiser
Two-tone style, updated small block power, and unique details for an awesome cruiser are all that make this restored 1970 Chevrolet C10 such a great total package. It's the kind of classic pickup that loves to be useful and memorable. Orange and white is a great two-tone that looks good on a classic truck. It has an attractive glossy style without crossing over into the trailer queen category. And that sets the right tone for the whole pickup. The chrome bumpers, classic grille, full trim, well-defined lines, and Rally wheels all come together to give this the look of a comprehensive classic. So it looks quite clean and complete when you're out on the streets. But because this one doesn't try to get too fancy, sometimes it's out in the world just because you're running to Home Depot (after all, that's what the liner paint in the bed is for.) So your weekend will be about Cars & Coffee in the morning and starting the chores on the way home. When you open the door, the Houndstooth cloth insets in the sets immediately stand out. They are one of the coolest Chevy features of the era, and this looks and feels fresh. Plus, the carpeting, door panels, door hardware, and dash pad all look newer for an inviting total package. The full impression is a driver-ready pickup, and so you have nice cruiser features like the sliding rear glass and a retro-style AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth. And the wood-rimmed steering wheel and clear classic readouts make for a proper driving position. Under the hood is a good-looking 350 cubic-inch V8. It has been upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. The motor fires up eagerly, idles nicely, and likes to hit the road. A three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and the C10's trailing arm rear suspension make for a good cruiser. And we also like how this makes sure to retain a proper vintage C10 pickup feeling just so you always know you're driving a classic. This is a classic two-tone truck that understands versatility means getting down to chores and looking good doing them.
