1957 Chevrolet Nomad Solid and nice Inco silver Nomad
Well Done! Restored put back to original Chevrolet color Inco silver.
Solid and nice. The bottom seems to be the first place to start looking at these old cars. The complete inside has been redone and done very tastefully. Seats redone to factory specs. All new but the windshield. You can drive and feel the power of the LS conversion. it's a very fresh and great running engine. It has a 4L60 transmission with lock up converter. This set up really compliments the late model motor. Car, of course, has power steering and power brakes. 57 has been upgraded with an i DIDIT steering column with 500 steering box. Neat stuff. New brake lines and new weather striping. One thing that grabs your attention is the 1959 style steering wheel all hand finish to match the interior and the restored dash.
Bad Ass! All the stainless and chrome is awesome. the interior top bows-look show quality. Rear bumper is a wagon bumper and was just added new. In order to make this a true traveling machine the previous owner added vintage air, The best, controls look much like 57 factory controls and mount in same location. Car has a new AM-FM radio and very important! All new wiring. tires have less than 5,000 miles. Anyone who has got familiar with these tri-five nomads is well aware of the problems that may come about with the rear tailgate life door. There has been spent in excess of $5,000 in restoring this hatch. It was sent off and professionally made straight in a jig. Yes new glass pot metal chrome plated along with trim bars on lower gate.
