1936 Cadillac Series 85 V 12 Fleetwood Touring Sedan Royal Maroon
This 1936 Cadillac Series 85 Fleetwood V-12 Touring Sedan is a true classic in every sense of the word.
A well preserved example that has was a 1st Place CCCA Award Winner and was restored to original specs. This beautiful classic is 1 of 900 sedans that were produced by Cadillac in 1936. Powering this antique '36 Cadillac is a 368 Cubic Inch 12 Cylinder Engine with a pair of single barrel carburetors mated to a 3 Speed Manual Transmission. The exterior on this 1936 V12 is finished in a dignified Royal Maroon Paint that gives this Cadillac a classic look. This Royal Maroon beauty has many exceptional accessory options including dual sidemounts with covers (a $20 option back in 1936), full wheel discs ($4 back in 1936), dual mirrors, Trippe driving lights and a locking gas cap. The chrome and brightwork are also in very nice shape as well. Weighing over 5,200 pounds with an 138 inch wheelbase this is a massive car that drives rather effortlessly down the road, especially since it sits on 4 wide whitewall radial tires with disc wheels. The classic tweed wool bench seat interior looks great and looks to have been recently redone. This '36 Series 85, as one might expect for a Cadillac, is loaded with interior accessories including body lighting, corner lights, two ashtrays and pass-around lighters, foot rests and sponge rubber carpet.
