The beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that was fully sorted roughly 1,000 miles ago, this super cool Chevy walks a fine line between sport and shine. That shine comes courtesy of vibrant Cocktail Orange Metallic two-stage that was borrowed directly from Kia's popular Soul palette. And that pigment, extended throughout both the pickup's cab and engine bay, reflects a series of tight gaps and flat surfaces that suggest quality certainly took precedence over time. Pop the hood and you'll find 383 cubic inches of stout Chevrolet small block that, according to this classic's current owner, easily kicks out somewhere between 400 and 430 horsepower! Behind that raucous small block, a tough 700R4 4-speed makes excellent use of a 2,800 RPM Monster Lockup Torque Converter. That torque flows through a familiar Ford 9-inch, which spins a posi-traction differential under requisite mini tubs. Everything rolls low and mean on a powder-coated factory frame that's guided by factory-style power steering. An aftermarket 4-bar hangs modern coil-over-shocks behind a factory front-clip.
