1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible gloss black 24469 Miles
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible combines an awesome color scheme (gloss black never goes out of style) and a highly polished appeal that makes it a strong contender for the ultimate boulevard cruiser. Numbers-matching 350 V8 power, an automatic transmission, and timeless good looks are part of the package, too, so we'll throw them in for free. Frame-off restored to an excellent standard, it's a beautiful 1st generation droptop Camaro that's just dying to be pampered, ogled, driven, and enjoyed by a lucky new owner. Although the '69 Camaro is quite likely the most popular Chevy of all time, there are a large number of folks who think the simple lines of the earlier 1st generation cars (the inaugural 1967 models in particular) were exactly right. Compact, but still muscular, the first ever Camaro was a simple design that allowed small details to have a big impact. Gorgeous Code A Tuxedo Black is this car's original color, and it looks like a million bucks from any angle thanks to a comprehensive, frame-off restoration that was finished in 2011 by the pros at Ron's Auto Restorations. Super straight sheetmetal certainly helps, and the finish quality on this car is top driver-quality, bordering on show-level, although this is not necessarily a trailer queen that can't be driven and enjoyed regularly. There are a few light imperfections to report, most of which have been acquired via car washes and wipe-downs, and we're certain that a thorough buff-and-wax would remedy the vast majority. A slightly more aggressive cowl hood was added during the build, and when coupled with the front chin spoiler and rear ducktail spoiler out back, this droptop's curb appeal is through the roof. It came out of the factory without stripes and that's exactly how the restorers left it, allowing that great paint work do all the talking, giving this F-body an incredibly smooth bodyline design that just cuts through wind. The blacked-out SS grille adds flair to the package without being overbearing, matching the SS gas cap out back, and simple fender badges are part of the factory recipe. Excellent chrome bumpers and bright stainless on things like the windshield surround and rocker panels molding add a bit of jewelry, and all that brightwork is in excellent shape as well. And whether the black soft top is upright and latched, or down and stowed away behind the rear seats, this Camaro looks fantastic. There's nothing better than a black-on-black color combination, and the up-market Deluxe vinyl interior looks fantastic as a perfect complement to the shiny black exterior. Neat seat covers with factory-correct seating surfaces look great, right down to the white accents, along with the matching door panels and plush black carpets below that tie everything together quite nicely.
