1964 Jaguar E Type Series I Roadster Opalescent Maroon Beige interior
"The most beautiful car in the world". The Jaguar Series 1 XKE (E-Type) 3.8 L Roadster. This Jaguar is finished in Opalescent Maroon with Beige interior. Included (not pictured) with the car is a fully painted removable hard top! The current owner acquired the vehicle from a collector whom owned the car since 1989. A full restoration down to the metal was performed at some point in the late 90s along with an engine overhaul, repaint, brake system overhaul, and replacement of the wiring loom and upgraded to negative ground. Once the current owner acquired the vehicle in 2014, it has undergone extensive care and restoration including a new convertible top and top bow, new steering wheel, new carpeting throughout including sound deadening material, aluminum console, speaker grill surrounds, new dash bezels and switches, new turn signal switch, new rubber body gaskets, refinishing of the exterior chrome pieces, replacement of all engine gaskets, new exhaust system (manifolds back), new electrical wiring, new aluminum radiator with electric fans, new clutch, new alternator designed to give the look of the original generator, new starter, new brake lines, new water pump, new hoses and clamps, new engine mounts, new steering column, new harmonic balancer, new transmission seal, new fuel lines, electronic ignition conversion, new subframe hardware, new suspension business and tie rods.
