The project began with a solid steel body that was chopped two inches. During a thorough, no excuses build, that perennial metal was carefully straightened and layered in rich two-stage. And today this coupe rolls as the kind of timeless icon that'll turn heads wherever it chooses to roam! Thanks to a supercharged, 350 cubic inch Chevrolet small block this sleek coupe complements big style with big substance! Behind that mill, a smooth 700R4 4-speed engages a TCI lockup converter to spin power through a posi-traction differential and 3.73 gears. Those gears ride a polished, fully independent rear-clip that's dampered with modern coil-overs. Opposite that clip, an independent front-half strings rack-and-pinion steering between tubular control arms and two more coil-overs. Solid stops come courtesy of polished, power-assisted calipers. And at the corners, polished U.S. Mags spin Yokohama AVID Touring-S. Between the doors, modern leather mitts feel firm and supportive.
