1971 Porsche 911T Yellow Coupe Runs Very Good
1971 Porsche 911t with a carbureted 2.7L I purchased this car a couple of years ago to do a 2.7rs clone since it already has a 2.7. As I drove the car I enjoyed it so much I never got to the project. It drives very nicely however could use a few things such as fresh shocks and bushings. The seat material is in good condition with no cracking. The drivers seat has a little squish to it but is still usable. The glass is in very good condition all around. The headliner is in very good condition as well as the rear deck. The transmission is in very good condition never crunching or grinding at all. The engine DOES NOT LEAK A DROP. Having owned half a dozen air cooled cars this is the first that has not leaked one drop on my garage floor. The heat exchangers appear to be brand new and have no rust to speak of. The car does have a few spots of surface rust but none in critical areas such as the sills, windshield surround or floor and seat pans. The engine is from a later car that was owned by the original owner, he installed Weber Carbs as well. The car runs very good at high RPM but has a little hesitation at lower revs. This would probably be cured with a carb tune. The stereo does not appear to work as a matter of fact I never turn it on.
