1932 Ford Coupe Light Blue Coupe 1762 Miles 6 Speed Manual
LS-Powered 5-Window Coupe 4.8L V8 6-speed Air Conditioning /// This cool coupe is constructed of quality BeBop's fiberglass that's been carefully prepped and highly polished. And that polish comes courtesy of buttery two-stage that, with the help of a glossy layer of clear, looks sometimes blue and sometimes gray. In the name of performance and reliability, it's common practice for somewhat traditional street rods to employ souped-up versions of proven powertrains. So, this Ford's builder decided to uncrate a familiar GM Vortec 4800 small block and put all its effortless horses to excellent everyday use! Behind that well-planned and professionally executed powerplant, a fluid hydraulic clutch kicks a tough Tremec T56 6-speed. That aftermarket gearbox spins a polished aluminum driveshaft to a 9-inch Ford axle that's built with an open differential and 3:73 gears. That pumpkin pushes a fresh Pete & Jakes frame that has been professionally C-notched. Those bones ride a Pete & Jakes triangulated 4-bar rear-clip that's finished with powder-coated links and modern Bilstein coil-overs. That clip rides opposite powder-coated Pete & Jakes hairpins, which tilt polished Bilstein shocks around a powder-coated Super Bell axle. Turns come courtesy of a manual rack-and-pinion. Stops are quick thanks to a quartet of calipers. And at the corners of the car, bright Billet Specialties Fuelies spin Toyo Proxes 4s. Between the doors, the driver and passenger ride a reclining Glide Engineering bench. An engine-turned instrument panel centers Classic Instruments All American Tradition telemetry above a custom antique climate control vent. And the driver spins a polished and leather-wrapped Pete & Jakes steering wheel around a "V8" branded shifter and a painted Ididit column.
