Available as the wondrously engineered and stunningly expensive LS6, the Chevelle SS454 was essentially just a few notches from NASCAR performance territory, and it absolutely terrified anyone who dared contest it at the dragstrips. It produced a relatively docile 360 HP yet still matched the LS6 with 500 lb-ft of torque.
