1981 marked the end of the 2nd Gen Trans AM and also the end of the real Pontiac V8. This One-Owner Trans AM is a perfect example of a rare collectible that will stand the test of time as a sound investment. All original and always stored in a Climate Controlled environment, this TA is a bench mark for others to be judged against.
Let's just say it - This is one of the nicest original '81 Turbo Cars on the planet. Just look at the interior and detailing throughout the car. It is just outstanding. These are excellent cruising cars. Take the T-Tops off and enjoy the Sun and Cruise the Coast. It does not get any better than this.
This TA is one of only 3,050 Turbo SE's built in 1981. While the 200hp rating may seem low, it was the top of the heap in 1981. The Corvette was only 190hp, Z28 - 175hp and the Mustang was only 120hp. So Pontiac really was the best you could buy. 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, WS6 Handling Package and the Turbo-Charged decals told the world this car was something different.
