1950 Mercury Custom Fire Flames Lead Sled
1950 Merc Lead Sled, Older build, started in 99 finished 2001. Featured in Hot Roder Magazine. louvered Hood, custom fire flames done by Artist Mike Lavalli, chopped top, shaved door handle's, frenched headlights, Custom interior, power windows. Original x frame, nova front clip. Power steering, power disc front brakes, 327ci SBC, A/C, tilt steering column. Gauges are in working order, lighting, wipers and heater also in working order. Air conditioning is hooked up and operational, but tested and does not blow cold. Radio works, cd changer in trunk. Straight body, solid and clean floor pans as seen in my chassis photos of car. Car drove good, Temp ran at 180' F, through town and down Hwy, as seen in my Hwy test drive videos. Steering felt proper, along with brakes, I have pointed out few Small blemish around car, minor rust spot and a few chips, as seen in my video. Overall fun car to cruise around. lots of attention. Older tires, weathered. I recommend replacing them, but they do hold air and seem to be fine on my test drive. Classic car addiction Serviced Brake booster and master cylinder new, front brake pads and front caliper rubber lines.
