1941 WC26 Dodge Carry-All Power Wagon
Body is from an original military owned 1941 WC26. Said that US Army was owner #1, US Army general was owner #2, US Army personnel #3, and I am #4. Chassis & Drivetrain are from a 2005 RAM 2500, 5.9L 24valve Cummins engine had under 50k miles on it.Body was removed, media blasted, metal and body worked to remove any rust. Frame rails were cut and sectioned roughly 18” to accommodate the WC26 Body. New body mounts, front suspension links, driveshaft and wires were made. Frame was hand stripped and re-painted with chassis black paint. From there everything was stripped off the body, and a “nut and bolt” complete resto-mod restoration was done.
Exterior:-Original style front grille was re-made from scratch. Powder coated black.-Custom front bumper with hidden winch mount (WARN 12k Winch) and D-Ring mounts. Powder coated black.-Custom radiator, intercooler, trans cooler, etc to fit with 1941 front clip.-BDS 4” Suspension with Fox Coil Over Shocks (front), Rancho 9000XL Adjustable Shocks Rear-40 gal custom fuel cell-Custom Taillight housing and LED lights-Custom Rear bumper with Baja Design Lights-Custom side steps tied to Original Equipment Fender Flares-PSC Hydro Assist Steering System-Oracle LED Fender Well and Rock Lights.-Custom patina paint (never done on any other vehicle to date in this fashion)-Monster Winch Hook, D-Ring Hooks, and Receiver Hook-BD Diesel Diff CoversInterior; -Wood floor was removed and replace with 1/4" metal sheeting. -Entire interior was LineX coated and then sound deadened with Kilmat (Dynomat like deadening material) and insulated pad & carpet installed.-Custom side panels were made in aluminum sheeting and wrapped in black vinyl. -Custom window and trim for the sunroof made in aluminum and painted to match exterior theme.-Roof was cut, reinforced, and a BMW X7 panoramic sunroof installed. Painted to match trim ring ties the sunroof area to the interior and exterior theme. Rest of the roof has aluminum sheeting and wrapped in headliner material.-New Windows throughout, including rear passenger and cargo windows are tinted.-New Hardware and glass on front window. Flip out front window fully operational.-Window and door hardware was all removed, cleaned, replaced if needed and re-installed.-TMI front reclining and sliding bucket seats in black vinyl -TMI rear reclining bench (bench bottom but both recline separate) in black vinyl-Sound System by MB Quart; 10” Sub, 3 AMPS, 3 sets of separates.-Sound System run through a Bluetooth receiver-Heat / AC from RestroModAir. Separate full size units for the Front and Rear with separate controllers.-RestroModAir billet vents (front)-Interior lighting by Baja Designs-sPod controller runs headlight, backup lights and windshield wipers. 4 open.-Billet window and door handles-Autometer Digital Dash Unit-Custom tilt steering column w/ Speedworks Steering WheelPerformance;-5.9L 24v Cummins No modifications done other than a custom tune and tune control knob in cab. -Custom 4” Exhaust from turbo back with DynoMax Exhaust mufflers. Ceramic coated for heat reduction.-FASS Fuel system-Performance K&N air intake-Yukon Gear 5.13 gearing front and rear.
