1967 Chevrolet C 10 27527 Miles Nissan Dark Blue Pickup Truck 402 Manual
1967 Chevrolet C10 Chevrolet referred to the 1967 C-10 pickup as the 'WorkPower' truck. Most were equipped with a 250ci straight six - the big-block Chevy V8 motors were reserved for Impalas, Chevelles and Corvettes. After a total restoration, this 1967 C-10 'Styleside' short-bed, now powered by a 408ci 'Rat", is a far cry from that six-cylinder model. The straight exterior has been professionally reshot in Nissan Dark Blue - a stunning 2-stage finish w/Z28 hood stripes. A cowl-induction hood has been installed and all chrome/stainless components are excellent. The suspension has been slightly lowered all around and a set of 15" chromed Chevy rally wheels w/center caps mount Cooper performance radial tires. Beautiful cedar wood boards and treated plywood have been installed over the original steel floor of the Rhino-lined bed. The interior has been carefully redone. Bucket sport-seats upholstered in black cloth have been installed along with a center console, matching door cards and a Grant tilt-wheel. A new factory gauge package w/tach has been fitted into the dash along with additional aftermarket gauges. This interior is C-10 'Silverado'. All that said, this truck is not only about looks - it is about performance. Under the hood is a GM 402ci big block, bored .030" over to 408ci, totally built and sounding very strong. It is fitted with aluminum heads, a hydraulic COMP Cam w/292 duration, roller rockers and Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake. A polished Quick Fuel 750cfm carburetor provides the mixture and exhaust is routed through GM cast iron manifolds. This is a serious street motor. The 'Rat' is backed by a Richmond 5-speed manual transmission with 11" Centerforce clutch/plate. A Hurst Comp+ shifter manages gear changes and torque is sent to a 12-bolt positraction differential w/3.08:1 gears. The near-spotless chassis is equipped with power steering, power disc/drum brakes, dual master, lowered coil springs, custom rear suspension w/panhard bar and a front sway bar. Put this top-shelf Chevy C-10 in your driveway and we guarantee that the neighbors will come over for a look - and a ride.
