1974 Porsche 914 GT Style flares Black over Black
This 1974 Porsche 914 was modified during prior ownership with GT-style flared fenders, staggered-width Fuchs wheels, a lowered suspension, Weber carburetors, and a performance camshaft. It is finished in black over a black interior, and power comes from a 2.0-liter flat-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The engine was modified to a 2.2L during the recent rebuild. The car has less than 1200 miles since rebuild. Previous owner had the car for a little over 27 years. This 914 is a great driver as it sits or would be a perfect car to do a 914-6 conversion.
The exterior is finished in black (L041) and features a removable targa roof panel, which has been painted to match the car. GT Style flares are fiberglass and are in great condition. The paint on this car is about 8 years old. It is in excellent condition. However does have just a few minor chips etc due to the age of the car and paint. This car is a solid 914 with virtually no rust at all. Battery tray has been replaced years ago, and the longs are in great condition as well.
Staggered-width 15″ Fuchs wheels measure 7″ wide up front and 8″ at the rear. They are mounted with 205/50 Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires up front and 225/50 ZE-502 tires out back. The suspension was lowered during prior ownership.
The black seats feature cloth inserts, and an aftermarket CD stereo, steering wheel, and floor mats are installed. Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 1,200 of which were added since engine rebuild. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter flat-four was modified with Weber carburetors and a performance camshaft. Car runs strong and has no known issues at all. The Power is sent to the rear wheels through a dogleg-pattern five-speed manual transaxle.
