1979 Rolls-Royce gorgeous Corniche Low mileage well kept vehicle
HIGHLIGHTS: Low-mileage, well-kept vehicle from a long-term owner! This gorgeous triple blue Corniche is ready to rock and roll! Believed three owners since new!
BODY OVERVIEW: Clean and straight is the only way to describe it! This Rolls-Royce appears to have always been kept as a "fun" car, and has clearly been pampered all its life. One glance down the side of this car tells you all you need to know!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The exterior is finished in a beautiful blue two-tone that is said to have been custom ordered. The paint appears to be original, and is in excellent condition overall with very few defects to be found. The wheel inserts are also painted to match, and the wheels themselves are actually Bentley wheels that are said to have been ordered on the car from new with Rolls-Royce center caps installed.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Step inside, and you'll be transported right back to the prime-time of the Rolls-Royce era. The interior is finished in a beautiful blue dyed leather, emitting that wonderful Rolls-Royce leather smell.. Though overall the interior is nicely preserved, the blue dye has worn off in some places due to heat, sun, wear, and the combination thereof. All of the real wood is intact, but the veneer is beginning to separate in some areas as can be seen in the photos.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The six and three-quarter (6.75) litre OHV V8 engine runs smoothly and quietly; this is a beautiful example of British design and engineering inside and out! Though this was the only engine available for these cars during this time, it remains an excellent choice for the vehicle as it provides adequate power and smooth operation. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the air conditioning blows cold. Even the power top works correctly! Plus, this car comes complete with a couple of service receipts from the last couple of years showing that this vehicle has seen recent maintenance.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The Rolls-Royce nameplate is one that has been carried for decades and decades by only the most refined automobiles. This Corniche is no exception, and what's not to love about that rare color combo?
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This one is tough to hate! If you don't like refined British automobiles, why are you here? DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This puppy is turn-key ready!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Any buyer that is looking for a well-preserved example of the ultimate classic Rolls-Royce convertible!
