1976 Ford F-250 Highboy custom super cool truck
Truck was customized in 1976 and was Zibarted at the same time. Then it was parked in a garage in 1982. I bought the truck in September of 2017. This is an original survivor! Only has 25,xxx miles on it as of now! I changed all the fluids, cleaned the fuel system, added fresh batteries replaced the shocks and replaced the wheels and tires after I purchased it from the original owners widow. I have since then taken it to many truck and car shows. This is a very clean original truck. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere! The front seat is not original to the truck as the original owner discarded it for a pair of bucket seats. I replaced them with this seat from a nice donor truck. Once again this is not a restoration truck. This is a survivor!!!!The truck has dealer installed cruise control. Has front disc brakes and power also! Has power assisted power steering. The custom eagles/flames are all hand painted in 1976! The gentleman that owned the truck was big into CB radios and his handle was flying eagle. The clutch/brake/and throttle rods are all chrome plated along with both shifters. The truck also features a custom made tonneau cover that snaps into place. There are peices of masking tape in the glove box with Ed’s handwriting of when he serviced the truck. This is a super cool truck with a interesting history of how it became what it is now.
