Magnificent work of art. A 1963 Ragtop that has been tastely modified, there's an extensive amount of time and money invested to create what we consider one of the nicest Beetle built ever!This is the history behind the built, told by the builder:… I grew up watching my father build a VW's and I learned to dislike them. Always looking at what I consider flaws and thinking on how it "should" be done.Then I learned the trade and went to build muscle and drag cars.Today I'm 48 years old, and my dad on his 80's (still building vw's), and 4 yeas ago I decided to build the Beetle the way I thought it should be built. First thing I didn't like, was how the headlight sticks out of the fender, not flushed like the early Porsche, so I worked on the metal to make it flushed.The plastic beading had to go, but in order to do that, I made the body and the fenders laser straight, so a small gap could be left but showing a perfect lines. The beautiful interior lines are now exposed after hundreds of hours smothering the inner panels.Hood handle removed, extended hood trim created, pop up mechanism to "pop" the hood from inside.Ignition key and fuse box relocated.Air ride with remote professional installed, Beetle rear wheels won't cave in like the others once lowered.
This Bug was built to drive at lowest position.Meticulously built with passion and no money spared, the result is insane!!
