This beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Belair 2-door, black on black, is a product of a three year frame off restoration/restomod.The engine is a 350 with a .030 overbore, modified heads and moderate cam (this cam hits the licks, makes the sounds that we car guys know and love). The transmission is a rebuilt TH350 with a shift kit and floor mounted Lokar shifter. Custom driveshaft going into a Summit provided 9 inch Currie 3:26 limited slip rear end. Brakes are power disc all the way around. CPP power steering. Everything about this car is new, nuts and bolts, on up. New gray tinted glass, front back and sides. All new stainless/chrome trim, bumpers and grill w/trim, included. Interior includes new dash gauges, custom bucket seats (seats are mounted on Danchuk seat mounts that attach in OE bolt holes. The mounts can be removed in favor of a stock bench seat), side door and rear panels, and original rebuilt and recovered rear seat. Air conditioned.Tires and wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust 11's with Toyo Proxes 4 tires, 235/50 ZR17's on front and 235/55 ZR17's on rear. Engine is hooked to block hugger headers, dual exhaust via Series 40 Flowmasters. Intake is via a Holley 670 cfm Street Avenger carburetor and Holley Dominator aluminum intake. Fired by a Summit "ready to run" HEI distributor. Aluminum radiator w/auxiliary electric fan. Headliner kit and windlaces (not yet installed) from Ciadella are with the car, along with all the bows, brand new stainless bows, too, Car has full car sound deadener insulation kit.
