1970 Chevrolet Camaro Bored & Stroked LS3 422 CI
Just reborn... 1970 split bumper Camaro, built to haul ass! LS3 bored and stroked to 422 cubic inches with forged internals producing nearly 600 HP. This was a 2 year nut and bolt restoration that turned out better than ever imagined. It's VERY FAST and REALLY LOUD with its custom Doug Thorley long tube headers, 2 ½” stainless steel tubes and Spintech exhaust. This car flat out gets it, a real head turner! I have the complete build sheet showing over 70k in parts alone.
The car was completely disassembled, media blasted inside and out and then powder coated. The under body was treated with line x undercoating and each panel was blocked to perfection to showcase the brilliant PPG black paint. The power is supplied by a bored and stroked LS3 that was finished with all forged internals that produces nearly 600 HP and is ready for the demands of high RPM performance. 4L80E automatic transmission, 4 link rear suspension with dual adjustable coil overs supplied by RideTech. Upper and lower tubular strong arms and welded in Hotchkis subframe connectors. 3.55 posi rear end, 12.19" drilled and slotted rotors front and rear, Wilwood 6 piston front and 4 piston rear being pushed by Hydrotech brake booster. The interior was treated with all new custom leather upholstery that includes, C-6 corvette power adjustable seats, new carpet, headliner, custom Billet steering wheel, Vintage air, Kenwood sound system with bluetooth and SiriusXM and Auto Meter Cobalt gauges. New tinted glass, blacked out chrome, custom 3-piece Intro wheels 295/35/19 in the rear and 235/35/19 in the front. Full LED light conversion with purple halo headlights. If Darth Vader had a hot rod it would be this one. The car was completed in late 2015 and since then I have put on 3980 miles on it. The car is ultra reliable, super fast and a blast to drive.
