1954 Buick Riviera Super 2 Door Hardtop 322ci V8 sporty and luxurious car
1954 Buick Super 2 Door Hardtop
The 1954 Buick Super Riviera 2 Door Hardtop is a wonderful combination of a car that is both sporty and luxurious. One of the fastest cars on the road in 1954!
The Buicks made in the mid-1950s are now regarded as one of the most beautiful and collectible cars of the 1950s. Here we have a beautiful Buick Super Riviera that has been well loved by its past few owners. It has been serviced well through the years, has never needed a full restoration, and has been garage kept its whole life. This would be a very nice car for all your cruise night events, local car shows, or just own/drive for fun! This car will be a treasure for your family to own for years to come and a great investment too. Features:· Original sticker price: $2,626.00· Engine: 322ci V8 (180 HP)· Transmission: Dynaflow (fully automatic)· Electrical System: 12 volts · Production Figure for this model: 73,531· Wheelbase: 127 inches · Fuel economy: 13-16 mpg· Weight: 4,210· Overall Length: 216.8· Top Speed – 93 mph (theoretical)· 0-60 Time – 11.3 seconds· ¼ Mile – 18.5 secondsThis Buick was an early production model built at the Wilmington, Delaware plant. The car was driven sparingly and had only 60,206 miles in 1977 and has only 75,702 miles today! The original 322 V8 runs very well, idles smooth, and makes very good power. The transmission operates well at all speeds. All working gauges, headlights, dash lights, map light, trunk light, back up lights, tag light, directional signals, horn, and even the original radio! Doors open and close nicely with a thud and they have good working hardtop flippers. The car drives as close to a new one as you will hope to find. No extra play in the steering, no vibration noises, or anything of that sort. VERY easy to steer and stop with almost no effort. Some recent work includes: a full checkup, brake service, and electric fuel pump. FYI - If you would like A/C added, it can be done for the next owner (please feel free to contact me for details and pricing).Just a beautiful looking car both inside and out! I believe most of the paint to be factory original and that the bottom part of the car (white) to have been re-painted at some point in the past. While there are various areas that have been touched up, and the paint is obviously very old, you can see that it shines very well and is very attractive. This Buick has been in a good climate all of its life and has always been garage kept. Much of the chrome and stainless is original and in very good condition. It has a VERY nice original dash, steering wheel, horn ring, knobs, and controls as you can see in the photos (which is what you'd expect from a nice original survivor car with low miles). The interior in general is quite nice for the age of the car and for being as original as it is. Engine bay and trunk are both clean and tidy. It is a great looking car that you should be proud to take to all your events or just drive for fun and special occasions.
