1936 Buick Special Series 40 Business Coupe
1936 Buick Special Series 40 Business Coupe. This car was restored on a all steel 80,000 mile rust free car approximately 10 years ago. Car has only been driven a few hundred miles since the restoration was done. The paint is very nice, The engine was completely rebuilt by a professional, new clutch was also installed. New cloth type original style wiring harness installed. The car has beautiful and correct style interior and still retains its original wood graining on dash and window garnish’s, looks like it was done yesterday! Also note the beautiful Ivory Banjo steering wheel that is in pristine condition. The gauges are all clear and crisp and they work. Note the original tire pressure instructions are still attached to the interior glovebox. All the bright work and chrome is in excellent condition. The running board rubber is excellent and was very expensive to replace. The undercarriage is very clean and still retains most of its originality. This car is very rare car and sports the duel tire side mounts, also has the Buick rear luggage rack, fender parking lamps, Trippe Speedlights, radio (not working... hums) and side fender skirts with the Buick crest! Turn signals were added for safety reason. The wheels are the original 16” with restored center caps and trim rings. Tires are excellent wide white Silver-tones. The dynaflash straight 8 goes smoothly down the road with ease and the car is a lot of fun at cruise nights. The car comes with 2 large boxes of spare parts....extra hub caps, fuel pump, brake parts, engine parts, steering column parts and key cylinders, light bulbs, glass tail light lens, and the list goes on.
