1971 Datsun 240Z kilimanjaro white Coupe repainted in the 90s
A clean 1971 early series 240Z repainted in the 90s in it’s original kilimanjaro white. Drives, shifts and handles well. Most work done in the 90s by the previous owner. Was a cover car on two issues of Victoria British catalogs. Only taken on drives and meets.
Still good compression on the rebuilt non matching L26 motor (E88 head with S31 head bolts), oil cooler, triple Weber carbs (dcoe40s), 6-2-1 headers, twice pipes, msd ignition.
Body is clean, no hidden rust. Front frame rails starting to show some rust
Another 90s thing are those painted bumpers and sunroof. Custom reupholstered Recaro SE seats, custom rollbar, Nardi wood wheel, matching wood shift knob, dash cap, Tokico 5 way struts, Eibach lowering springs, sway bars 1 inch front 3/4 inch rear, front Toyota brake caliper upgrade, stock clutch.
Recent 5 spd tranny installed, Mallory cap, rotor, ignition module, inner/outer tie rods, alignment, oem gas cap, Motul 600 brake flush, Rota RKR 15x8 0 with 205/55 S Drive Yokohamas, 3 row Champion stainless radiator, Mobil 1 10-30 oil change, right rear brake cylinder
Known issues: Brakes pedal low, occassional slight front wheel vibration, heat lever stuck, cabin fan stopped working, passenger door latch need checked (door requires slamming), R134 AC stopped working, wiper very weak.
