Power comes from a replacement 283/230 V8 that is equipped with two 4-barrel carburetors and backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. A Turbo Hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic transmission has replaced the stock 2-speed Powerglide. The powertrain has been rebuilt during the 1990s refurbishment. Engine pull strong, transmission shift good, all gauges work as it should.
