1970 Porsche 911 T Coupe Grey restored vehicle
This 1970 Porsche 911 is a restored vehicle with updates to the drivetrain and engine.
Body: the body shell was media blasted down to bare metal, all rust repaired in steel. The original color was red, certified by Porsche America. The undercoating is redone in OEM grey instead of black as commonly mistaken by many restorations.
Engine: this 2.2 liter engine was rebuilt by Mirage international in San Diego CA. Mirage international is the original engine builder of the early famed Singer cars. This engine is built to 911 S spec with higher compression pistons, S cams, blue printed and balanced with polished heads. Weber carburetors instead of the stock solexs. It has a total of 500 miles on it and ready for valve adjustment and carburetor retuning.
Transmission: rebuilt original 901 5 speed gear box.
Chassis and suspension: all suspension components are rebuilt or new, powder coated to factory spec, all new bushings, bearings, fro t and rear sway bars, new hydraulic and plumbing lines, new master cylinders, new brakes, rewired electrical, fuses, etc. New konis, 5 new Fuch style ultra light wheels with new Pirelli tires. Original jack and owners manual. New tool kits, battery, gas tank and seal, new trunk pearlon trunk carpeting.
Interior: original seats are re- trimmed in OEM German leather, matching back seats. Even the seat rails are cleaned and refurbished. New door panels, door pockets, window cranks, door pulls, knobs, etc. OEM German carpeting through out. Retrimmed rear interior panels, new parcel shelf, new headliner and bows, refurbished original German radio, new dash top, all gauges rebuilt, rewebbed original seat belts for safety. All interior chrome trims were re-chromed or new. Aluminum trims, window frames re- anodized as original. New H4 headlights as are all new plastic lens. New horns, re-stitched original steering wheel. New wipers, all new seals and rubber gaskets through out.
Conclusion: the underside of this car is just as appealing as the exterior. The attention to details is exceptional, it dives like a true 911S , fast tight and responsive yet understated.
