Crown Vic swap IFS
This 1968 F100 Ranger is the perfect "Shop Truck" / "Parts Hauler" and is driven daily! This truck has just the right amount of patina to be able to get out and enjoy in any weather, but still look sharp from a distance. This truck has been on several long haul - over night trips and handles it with ease... This truck has the crown vic independent front suspension installed and has a 2013 Mustang GT 8.8 rear w/ C-notches and leaf springs. The 390 was fresh/built prior to installing and has a nice sounding custom cam, aluminum 4v intake, Holly 4v carb, Headers, etc. and now has approximately 8,000+ miles on it. The c6 automatic transmission is mostly stock but was freshened with the motor install. The power disc brakes are the perfect combo for this truck and make the truck very easy to drive. This truck left the factory with as a 360 2v Ranger, Black w/ red interior. The interior is presentable with a new custom seat with armrest and cup holder but the dash does have a crack in the original dash pad. The exterior chrome and trim are showing some wear from its age but are still presentable. The truck has had one exterior repaint in the early 80's and is showing its age on the upper surfaces (hood, roof, top of the bed etc. clear coat is coming off). The engine bay and undercarriage was refinished when the suspension and motor was installed. The 20" wheels and tires were installed with the new suspension. This truck is a pleasure to drive and will be missed, but it's time to make room for other projects...
