1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Manual Rally Sport package
This car has recently been restored. This is a factory 4 speed (muncie / saginaw) manual Z28 with the Rally Sport package. The engine is a recently rebuilt SBC 350 bored 40 over. Everything internal to this engine is new, crank is 3.48 stroke, Forged Flat top pistons 4.040, Cam .268/280 lift .477/.480, main bearings, cam bearings, cloys timing gears, new clutch, etc…all new. Heads are aluminum H8002k Blueprint heads 64cc. Paint is new Pepper Gray Metallic with Metallic black stripes. There is a paint chip on the front of the car. The interior is somewhat original with new carpet, dash, steering wheel, door panels, console, and headliner. Brand new Dakota Digital gauges were recently installed showing the original mileage on the car. All the gauges work. The car has new door and trunk seals, new windshield, and aftermarket cowl induction hood. I also have the original hood for the car. The exhaust is new as well 3” all the way through with Magnaflow mufflers and long tube headers. It has a mild tone and very comfortable on the ears. Wheels are Chrome PVD Torq Thrust II 17x8 rear with brand new Nitto 275/50/r17 and 17x7 on the front with Nitto 235/45r17 tires. The chassis has new body bushings, Hotchkis 2” front lowering springs, new upper and lower ball joints, and welded on Global West Sub Frame Connectors. Installed TrickFlo rear diff cover (3.42 gears) New front disc brakes, and new rear drum assemblies, along with new master cylinder and all new brake lines. The floors were replaced and are solid, covered with Dynamat sound deadener as well as the doors, trunk, and roof. The trunk has no visible lock and is push button release from inside the car. The car runs and drives nice and holds a good temp. I’ve taken this car for long road trips over 600 miles with no issues on back roads and interstate.
