1974 Citroën AX HY Van Food Truck Restomod extremely rare to find
Rare and one of a Kind build 1974 Citroen HY Van that was restomoded on a modern chassis with a fuel injection engine!
One of a kind build! Very cool truck and extremely rare to find. This is a rare opportunity to buy one of these vans in the U.S. It has the suicide doors! The side panels are removable for those that want to do a food truck. The body was completely lifted off! The whole frame was taken off and the body was modified to adapt a 2000 GMC van chassis. Originally these HY Vans were 4cylinder engines with 3-speed, manual which only did 50mph, and drum brakes and no power options. With the current setup this HY Van has Power Steering, Automatic Transmission, Power brakes, Front disc, modern suspension which makes this HY van here so unique to any others out there. Also this HY van was elongated in the rear so It's longer inside than a stock one. You will not find another one like this!These are great vans and popular to turn them into commercial advertising or food trucks!…. Gets tons of attention out on the streets!The engine is a 4.3Liter mounted to its automatic transmission. Since it's a GMC engine and chassis you can buy all the parts here at your advance auto parts! Very well running engine that has been properly maintained. The HY Van was sand blasted, had rust repairs done to it, and was repainted inside and out. You can wrap the Van with your company logo. Very cool vintage look. You can also wrap these vans with your design. Very solid van in and out. This Van will definitely get lots of attention & question at the cars and coffee meets.This truck is in great condition and very comfortable & pleasant to be in. It's actually fast!! The Body is straight as an arrow. All doors, hood are all aligned like they should from factory. Interior was upholstered in Tan . The rear of the Van is empty and can be customized any way you'd like. Great conversational piece!
