1976 Ford Mustang project with no Engine and transmission Coupe
1976 Ford Mustang
This started out as a 1976 mustang , 2015 mustang back half grafted in, with the independent rear end from the 2015, front wheel opening grafted from the 2015 to the 76 front fender to match rear opening , front wheels moved 13 inches forward for two reasons ,one for the look second reason to accept the 5.0 coyote motor, One could easily put a 302 with a C4 and go that route or maybe a 4.6, There is no motor or transmission in the car right now so it’s being sold as a project with “no Engine/ transmission” ,It has been set up for a 5.0 coyote motor , everything except motor mounts , Custom transmission mount has been made and is in ready to accept a 6R80 transmission, all clearances figured, The car is all steel, all plastic parts from the 2015 recreated in steal , the whole front was completely custom built, only the section with the headlights and grill are factory composite from the 76 , four-wheel disc brakes all in and bled out and working, heidts front end with power steering , power entry installed and working, wiring mostly done headlights tail lights turn signals working, steering is in and working, brand new rims and tiresI have a 1995 302. Roller motor, completely rebuilt bored 40 over , roller cam lifters rockers , I would sell it for $3500 but only with the car was going put the 302 motor in the car but so much work has gone into fitting the coyote I really hate to do that,All the graphics on the car are vinyl wrap can easily be removed if you don’t like that and maybe do your own thingSome pictures show the metal work that was done , pretty extreme !!This is a project that has had a ton of work put into it and is close to completion but still has a ways to go but at the end will be a very extreme/unique piece of art
